Mornington Family Shoot

While I was staying on the Mornington Peninsula recently I did a family shoot for the Mungean family. They had a 3 year old boy and a 21 month old girl and a 2 week old baby boy.

We did some photos of their newest addition at their home and then went to their local beach in Mornington. The Kids were so happy and easy to work with and the shoot went really good.

Going Away

I’m going to Melbourne for a Couple of weeks tomorow so I wont be posting anything until I get back but I should have plenty to post as I will be doing a family shoot down their and I will also be going to my brothers wedding and hope to get some photos on the night.

I am also going to use the time to shoot some places that I have not shot before and some that I have been meaning to get back to for a long time, so weather permitting I hope to come back with some landscape gold.

Feros Care – Corporate Event

On friday I went to shot an Event for Feros Care, they had a corporate event in Coolangatta.

“Feros Care is an innovative and responsive community owned and non-profit aged and community care provider with operations in New South Wales and Queensland. We offer a range of residential, respite and community care services that can be tailored to meet your, or your loved-ones, specific needs and aspirations. All of our services promote the status of older people and actively support their right to lifestyle choices, advocacy and independence.”

As I was shooting I couldn’t help but listen to the things they were talking about and I was pretty impressed with what they were saying and It’s great to know that there are amazing Aged Care places that genuanlly care about their residences.

Old Film Look

Sandy Rights and Rocky Slabs

Today was the first time that i have shot surf in over 6 months and it was great to get out and shoot it again, there was a good swell and pumping waves early in the morning but soon after the wind got into it and that was it for the day.

Wet Day Fun

It’s my Birthday today and its still raining so I went out in the garden with my son and let him play in the rain, he loves playing in the dirt so playing in the mud is even better.

Elijah enjoyed watching his brother play in the rain.

Gold Coast Under Water

After Days of heavy rain, the Gold Coast and other areas in SE Queensland and Northern NSW have flooded. Many roads were cut off and inland seas were being created. When I shot these images yesterday (25th of Jan) in the afternoon the rain had stopped and the water had already started to reseed.

We were told that we would be getting another huge down poor of up to 200 mm yesterday but as I looked on the radar it was all out to see. There was a similar system out to see in the morning to and if both had of been over land I would say many homes would have been under water.

Its Ausralia day today and most effected areas are back to normal with just a mess left but we are meant to get more heavy rain on friday and into the weekend so it could all be flooded again.

Any way here are some shots I got just around my area not far from my house.
